Poor ’Tiger’ was rejected as a foal, resulting in me spending the first week of his life sleeping in the stable with him to tend to his frequent milk feeds. He became an absolute pet, and would sleep on the mattress with me, like a dog. He became a tall, well conformed colt and won at the British Nationals as a yearling. Later, under the ownership of Jess Amess, having successfully competed with her in many spheres, he was awarded the 2014 WAHO Trophy.
